I was so excited for Ethan's first Easter, however, I was a horrible mommy and failed to put together an Easter basket! I know, I know, he won't even remember it, but still...
I will! I did buy him a book of 100 words, as well as the second book in the Hunger Games series, yes I read the Hunger Games to him...hopefully he is enjoying the soothing sound of my voice and not picking up on the fact that the book is about teenagers fighting to the death.
Anyway, I was really excited to show Ethan off in my favorite outfit that I received at my baby shower! LUCKILY it still fit him by the time Easter rolled around.
Our first stop in our Easter weekend festivities was the Malabanan side, where we ate Filipino food and hung out at Lolo and Grandma's house all day!
Apparently, Kiley really wants to be a part of our family....
...scratch that, Kiley just wants to be in front of the camera. :)
Between the hat, the shoes, and the struggle to keep his shirt down, Adam was not a fan of Ethan'e Easter outfit...so mid day he changed him into something more comfortable.
Ethan is wondering why Lolo gets to nap and he has to stay up being passed around all day.
Kiley is really excited about her baby brother who will make his appearance in July!
The next day it was time for the Holzer family Easter. There was a lot going on there...between the chickens, the guns, the babies, and the beer, I think that it is safe to say that Ethan will never be bored at a Holzer get together! PLUS, his buddy Connor was there!
It is Connor's life goal to teach Ethan where his hand are.
"Look Man! You can control these things!"
"And when you figure out how to move them, you can shove them in your mouth! They taste better than a cheeseburger!"
"Ok, where do I start.."
"See? They are right here!"
"Look man! Pay attention, this is good stuff!"
"Oye! I can't work like this! This kid is far beyond my help!"
"Whatever...if you won't eat them, then I will!"
Happy first Easter Ethan! I can't wait to teach you what Easter is all about!
