Picture a Day: Week 19
Day 127
See all of those poor scratches all over his face? Well this entire time we have been cutting his nails like crazy thinking they were the culprit . One day we were out to lunch and Ethan dropped one of his toys on the dirty floor so Adam went to the bathroom to rinse it off. In the midst of rinsing it off he cut his hand. There was a small pice of plastic sticking out of the toy that had been cutting him this whole time. Parent Fail.

4 Months New
Dear Ethan,
You are 4 months old! You have already traveled further in your first 4 months of life then some people travel in their first four years. You took your first plane ride, where you did really well. You vacationed in Florida where you got to put your feet in the ocean for the first time!
You are extremely vocal. Our night time routine is extremely entertaining these days as the moment we start it you start to screech like a pterodactyl! You love the sound of your own voice...and we love it too! You are starting to grab onto our shirts, and you are starting to grab handfuls of mommy's hair! You still love to bounce in your exersaucer! You are really starting to develop your own little personality. You love to smile and coo, and you also let us know the moment you become unhappy or upset! Every time we leave the house at least one stranger (usually and old lady) comments on how cute you are! You are sucking on your fingers non stop, despite our constant efforts to stop you. You also have a new trick that we like to call the tripod. You can sit up with both hands on the ground. Unfortunately I think it's more of a balancing act (with the help of your big ol' booty) and less the act of sitting. You love music. You have officially stopped sleeping through the night. You are waking every two hours which is bringing mommy and daddy back to the exhausted newborn days, but we are sure you will figure it out sooner or later! Your dad and I talk all of the time about the day you were born and how much you have changed! I tell you every day how much I love staying home with you and how lucky we are that we just get to play all day long! I'm pretty sure you agree. :)
I love you so much, and I can't wait to see what next month has in store.
Love,
Mom
