3 Months New
Dear Ethan,
You are three months old today and boy have you been changing! You are getting so big! You are now wearing 3-6 month clothes and weigh at least 15 pounds. I can no longer take you out into public without being stopped by little old ladies who want to say hi and pinch your cheeks. You are making so many noises. You are screeching and squealing especially when you wake up in the mornings and also while we are going through our night time routine. You have been greeting me with a smile when I come to get you out of your crib in the mornings. You slept 10 straight hours for the first time...which I personally think you should try to keep and or beat that personal sleeping record from here on out. You are mimicking the silly sounds mommy and daddy make at you. You are still a little behind in the fine motor skills department, as you still can not figure out those hands that keep flying by your face are in fact attached. Believe it or not, you can control those things! You love books! You don't really care for your bumbo much, but I can't really blame you...I wouldn't like something I had to squeeze my chubby legs into either. We started (probably a little early) putting you in your jumperoo, along with blankets to secure you in, and you are slowly getting the hang of it. You are reacting to us more, getting excited when you see us and smiling like crazy when we play with you! We are having so much fun with you and we just love listening to you squeal...even if you do sound like a little girl. I love you so much and I can't wait to see what this next month will bring!
Love,
Mom

"Unless you pay me for another hour, I am not giving you another smile...uh uh...not happening!"
